When you need to remove scratches, holograms or oxidation but also want high gloss for the next step in paint polishing,
there is Menzerna Medium Cut Polish 2500 (MCP 2500) – a universal medium-cut compound that combines cutting power and finishing ability in one product.

It removes medium paint defects, sanding marks up to P2500 grit and leaves a smooth, deep and even gloss.
It’s an ideal choice for paint restoration after everyday wear, minor car wash marks or after heavy polishing.

How to use:

Apply 3–4 drops of polish onto a medium-hard foam pad.
Spread the polish over a small area (approx. 40×40 cm).
Start at low speed to spread evenly, then increase speed and pressure.
Polish until the compound turns into a clear film – this means it’s finishing its work.
Wipe the residue with a microfiber cloth and inspect the result under proper lighting.

Pro tip:

I use Menzerna 2500 as the most universal polish in my workshop – perfect when I don’t want to do a full three-step correction but still need a flawless finish.
On medium-hard paints (e.g. BMW, Škoda, Renault) it can cut and finish in a single step.
Its advantage is that it doesn’t overheat the paint, doesn’t dust and is easy to control even under strong lighting.
