RED HARD FOAM POLISHING PAD – MAXIMUM CUTTING POWER FOR DUAL ACTION POLISHERS
Power, precision, and control during heavy paint correction.
The Red Hard Foam Polishing Pad is designed for dual action (orbital) polishers and serves as an aggressive pad for the first stage of correction.
Made from high-density open-cell foam, it provides exceptional strength, stability, and even pressure distribution when working on heavily damaged or oxidized paint.
It’s the pad you reach for when standard polishing pads no longer cut it – ideal for removing deep scratches, sanding marks, or heavy oxidation.
Despite its strong cutting ability, the pad’s quality structure and cooling system minimize the risk of overheating or damaging the paint surface.
Features:
• Hard, durable open-cell foam – maximum power transfer to the surface
• High cutting performance – ideal for deep defect and oxidation removal
• Specially designed for dual action (orbital) polishers
• Perfect match with Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400
• Velcro backing for quick and secure attachment
• Central hole for heat dissipation and balanced pressure
• Stable surface contact – precise control and machine balance
• Safe to use – minimizes the risk of paint burn-through
How to use:
Attach the pad to the backing plate using the Velcro surface.
Apply a small amount of heavy-cut compound (e.g. Menzerna 400) around the edge of the pad.
Work on small sections (approx. 40×40 cm / 16×16 in), gradually increasing speed and applying moderate pressure.
After completing each section, clean the pad thoroughly with compressed air or a special cleaning brush.
For a perfect finish, follow up with a medium or soft pad and a finer polish.
Tip from experience:
I use this red hard pad whenever I need to remove deep defects quickly but still maintain full control over heat and pressure.
Combined with Menzerna 400, it performs most of the correction work in the first step.
Unlike cheap hard pads, it doesn’t deform, overheat, or lose cutting power over time.
Always remember – you polish with the compound, not with the pad.
The pad is the carrier that amplifies the polish’s performance and distributes power evenly across the paint.
Recommendations:
• Do not use on hot paint or under direct sunlight.
• Clean the pad with compressed air after each use and store in a dry place.
• Monitor surface temperature – overheating can damage the paint.
• Follow your polisher’s recommended speed limits.
Summary:
• Hard foam pad for dual action polishers
• Designed for heavy correction and defect removal
• High stability and excellent heat dissipation
• Best performance with Menzerna 400
• Suitable for professionals and advanced users
• Safe, efficient, and precise performance
